Responsibility and authority:

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the utility systems;

• Maintain watch. Operate Operator Station;

• Perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the utility systems;

• Perform first line maintenance of the utility systems;

• Perform bunkering operations;

• Ensure Control Room is kept tidy and in good order;

• Carry out relevant tests and inspection routines as per Computerised Maintenance

Management system.

• Identify and report utility systems maintenance requirements;

• Perform sampling and analysis on utility systems to ensure optimization in accordance with requirements;

• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning;

• Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance and operation activities;

• Use the Permit to Work system. Prepare Permits; Follow the Permit to Work procedures.

• Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Produce reports, update records, generate work orders;

• Prepare required reports, keep logs and maintain appropriate documentation;

• Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively;

• Undertake training relevant to the position requirements;

• On-the-job-training of colleagues and trainees;

• Member of Emergency Response Team.

Qualification requirements:

Education

• According to Training Matrix.

Experience

• One year watch keeping experience from marine or offshore industry. Can be substituted with

three years’ experience on FPSO or other offshore installations in other positions.

Interpersonal skills

• Good inter-personal and communications skills.
